WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
Freerange ArtFarm began life as a small graphic illustration business in 1995 on my tiny kitchen worktop. After some years when life meant I needed a proper job, I'm delighted to have re-emerged in my gorgeous purpose-built studio. These days, much of my artwork revolves around mindful and therapeutic practice. I offer workshops that build confidence and creativity, and give opportunities to have a go at a variety of art and craft techniques.
I also offer ArtBeam workshops to schools and community groups. These are interactive multisensory storytelling sessions with percussion, puppetry, music and art along with Soundbeam 6 sound technology system, allowing individuals of any ability the opportunity to take part in music-making and storytelling activities.
SPREADING THE CREATIVITY INFECTION!
When I realised how much I was benefiting from the calmness and serenity of working in the studio, I wanted anyone who was feeling pressure in their life or work to come and join me - it works! There's no need to be artistic, or to be able to draw -the workshops are for all abilities. All you need is an interest and an open mind.
The studio is small, so you will be working in a group of up to four others. I am very much an enabler rather than an instructor, and look forward to seeing how an individual's creativity blossoms when given the opportunity! I can also bring this to your place of work, in the form of in-house workshops for up to six participants.
I am an experienced teacher of children who have severe and complex additional support needs, and therefore am happy to discuss individual or smaller group sessions for both children and adults.
